Yesterday’s Ladies Of Jazz

I am so very excited about the opportunity to present Yesterday’s Ladies of Jazz again!

This time, in celebration of Black History Month, I have put together a show highlighting the musical achievement and contribution to Jazz music by Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Sarah Vaughan. I am delighted to share the stage with some fine musicians; Frank Leone on piano, Steve Golden on clarinet and saxophone, Dick Jones on bass and John Plows on drums. This free admission, and open to the public performance, is sponsored by Vegas Jazz. Elementary school children will arrive by bus for this one hour show that begins at 1pm. I love PBS! I am delighted to have been asked again to participate in the Southern Nevada Public Television’s 22nd Annual Splendor In the Glass Wine and Beer Tasting benefitting PBS.

This wonderful event will take place at The Las Vegas Hilton Center.
Saturday, Feb 12th, 3 – 7pm.
Admission is $65 with Advance Reservations and $80 At The Door.

You will enjoy 65 wineries and breweries, a live wine auction, a silent auction, and a guest appearance by one of America’s most acclaimed chefs, Hubert Keller. Providing the jazz music with me on stage will be Gary Queen on guitar, Gary Anderson on saxophone, Fred Watstein on bass and John Plows on drums. What a great event!

I will also be singing and dancing again at the Onyx Restaurant, which is a blast! Friday, Feb. 11th and 18th, from 6 – 9pm – what fun! I will be doing all your favorite Jazz standards and vintage pop tunes for your dining and dancing pleasure.

This new hot spot, just north of the city is a great place to start out your evening. It is a fine dining restaurant serving delicious cuisine, that has a beautiful bar sporting a grand aquarium, gorgeous art on the walls and a couple of very chic water fountains. The atmosphere and décor are beautiful.
